Welcome

Rotary International is the world’s largest service organization with 1.4 million members delivering “service above self” all around the globe. Rotary International does fabulous work every single day in local and international communities in areas of: community service, empowering youth, advancing health, promoting a clean environment, building peace, and much more.

 

It is uplifting to be a Rotarian and particularly to be part of Blue Bell Rotary known for many forms of community service, often with a focus on families; youth services, especially geared toward the betterment of their education and leadership; and global projects, supporting well-being for those who are in need, including participation in hands on health-related missions to underserved countries. I’d also like to share that all our members work together to raise funds annually through “Chefs of the Burbs”, voted Montgomery County’s #1 fundraiser, two years in a row.  

 

Our club members are mission driven, friendly and connected. I am inspired by our members and the multitude of efforts we accomplish; over two dozen projects each year. We have a lot of fun, while we get things done.  This year, as Blue Bell’s President, I will support our Club’s efforts to: increase our impact by adding new projects while we continue with our established community services; expand our reach with additional community and Rotary partners; engage our club members, ensuring members find opportunities that are meaningful for them; and increase our ability to adapt with policies and approaches that are current, and attractive to a widening  set of potential members.

 

The theme for Rotary International during 2024-2025 is “The Magic of Rotary.”  The theme emphasizes the transformative power of Rotary’s work in communities around the world. Our club intends to make magic happen in the coming year. We invite you to be part of that in some way.

Tuesday mornings from 7:15 to 8:30 AM at Montgomery County Community College (College Hall) in Blue Bell.

The last Tuesday of every month is a social gathering at one of the local restaurants, in lieu of the Tuesday morning meetings.
